Our street dance classes are more than the average dance class. We feel that everyone should have the opportunity to dance, regardless of age or ability. Many members had never been to a dance class before they tried our street dance classes.

For this reason, all our dance courses are run in a FRIENDLY and FUN environment where you will MAKE NEW FRIENDS, get FIT and improve your dance skills! We don’t stand for any unsupportive behaviour that is rife in many dance classes, which is what makes us unique.

We are currently running the Street Dance Academy every Monday at The Picture House. Each class has a new dance and is taught in a fun and energetic style. Utilising the brilliant space provided by The Picture House, we can easily fit upto 50 per class. It is a relaxed atmosphere and there is no pressure to ‘be amazing’. This class is for fun, fitness and to learn a new skill.

The class itself is ‘open’ meaning that there are no age-limits and anyone can attend. We have many people already in attendance (ie: school teachers, wanting to learn new skills for their PE classes, students of performing arts and even some children as young as 7).

We ask that children under 7 are accompanied by a participating adult (this means that the adult must join in the class) and there is no upper age-limit. Each class is a bargain at only £4.
