About

Fracture Theatre is an innovative and inclusive theatre company based in Tees Valley. The unique quality of Fracture is that we work with whole variety of people to create performance, not just actors, dancers and singers; we take ‘average joe’ and help them to create performance and feel comfortable with using theatre as a tool for self improvement, personal development and most importantly to have fun.

Fracture Theatre is an organisation that covers many different areas of the entertainment, events and leisure industry, with our main focus being on personal well-being and community work. Our work ethic is one of self-improvement and a hard-wired belief that people can do anything that they put your minds to.

Although Fracture is a community orientated organisation, this does not mean that it lacks the expertise or skills to enable performers to excel in all areas of performing arts. Many of our participants over the last 6 years have gone on to top UK stage schools and universities including; Carlisle University, Reynolds Performing Arts, LABAN, Liverpool Institute For Performing Arts, Arts Educational & even New York Acting School.

So whether you are looking for a fun little hobby or excellent training in a realistic and down-to-earth theatre company, Fracture Theatre has something for everyone!

1. Resonant – to provoke ideas, thoughts, questions about yourself and the world

2. Engaging – to stir your emotions & imagination

3. Fun, exciting & entertaining – serious purpose, but with an aesthetic value too.
